GUIDELINES FOR ORGANIZING SUMMER CAMP FOR LOW ACHIEVERS OF CLASSES I to V
Objective of the Programme:
Duration of the Programme:
One Primary school or Upper Primary school representing from each School complex in all the districts having good accommodation (Instructions were already communicated to DPOs on selection of a school for this programme).
Who will teach?
The CRP attached to the School complex will teach and the MEO will supervise the conduct of the programme.

PLAN OF ACTION
Objective of the Programme:
To impart the basics in languages, maths and Sciences for the low achievers (Children who are in grade –C) in summer holidays so as to equip them for smooth entry into the designated class in the new academic year.
Duration of the Programme:
- One month – from 10th May, 2013 to 10th June, 2014.
- Daily two hours i.e., from 07.30 A.M to 09.30 A.M
- Low Achievers (C-grade children of Class-I & II and Classes III to V of current academic year 2013-14) based on Summative – II conducted in Jan-2014.
- At least 50 children (Children of classes I to V)

Materials Provided:
- Two kinds of Abhyasa Deepikas are developed for ‘C’ grade children of classes from I to VIII.
- Abhyasa Deepika –I for ‘C’ grade children of classes I & II.
- Abhyasa Deepika – II for ‘C’ grade children of classes III to VIII.
- Each child will be provided with one relevant one Workbook.
- Each identified center/school will be provided with 50 workbooks (i.e., 25 workbooks for class I & II and 25 books for classes III to VIII).
- Limit the number of ‘C’ grade children to 50 only i.e., 25 from Classes I & II and 25 from Classes 3,4,5 or 3 to 8 (in case the number of children of classes 3, 4, 5 fall short of 25 select ‘C’ grade children of classes 6, 7 and 8 also).
